YFE : Action Plan Launch Video & other activities

Dear concerned citizens,

Over the past months, you have signed our campaigns, attended our rallies, called up the helpline or atleast, read about, and felt for our cause. But now the culmination of all our efforts is at hand. The monsoon session of parliament begins on 24th July, and the government, will almost certainly try to pass the bill for 50% reservations during this session. We will therefore begin our awareness campaigns and protests from Thursday. We request all of you who feel for our cause, to volunteer your services, for atleast 2 hours this week, for all the information campaigns and rallies we have lined up. Our calendar reads as given. 20th July - Thursday: We require volunteers to go to junior colleges to tell them about our rallies and mobilize more volunteers

Celebrities : Anupam Kher, Udita Goswami and Mahesh Bhatt are confirmed. So are the 5 people above.Time: 5 - 7 pm. Patkar Hall, near churchgate station.** Patkar hall has a capacity of 600.. We need students to turn out in numbers large enough to fill up the hall. The celebrities are coming to support the students - there will be a good media presence - so it will be a shame for YFE if the hall is not filled. All students must make efforts to bring others, in addition to coming themselves. 21st July - Friday: We spread awareness about YFE at different railway stations. 22nd July - Saturday: A bikers'/cyclists' rally Also we go to malls and theatres to distribute pamphlets and theatres23rd July - Sunday: Everyone has to play his part in the nationwide rally. We have a human chain between Bandra and Andheri from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.Select any of the above events. We require you for just 2 hours.
